Our Story
A shop built on the belief that great wine deserves great care—from the vineyard to your glass.
Thomas Beaumont spent fifteen years in the wine trade—first as an importer in New York, then as a buyer for a London auction house. He came to Savannah in 2015 looking for a slower pace, and found a city with a thriving food scene but no shop dedicated to serious wine.
Cask & Vine opened on Bull Street in 2016 with a simple premise: curate a collection of genuinely exceptional wines, store them properly, and serve every customer as if they were building a collection—because most of them are.
We don’t carry thousands of labels. We carry a few hundred, and every one has been tasted, vetted, and selected for a reason. Provenance matters. Storage matters. The story behind the bottle matters. We believe the difference between a good wine shop and a great one is curation.
What We Stand For
Every bottle in our shop has a verifiable chain of custody. We know where it was stored, how it was shipped, and why it’s worth your attention.
We taste hundreds of wines to stock a few dozen. If it’s on our shelf, it earned its place through quality, character, and value.
From your first visit to your hundredth bottle, we treat every interaction with the same care. Your collection is our responsibility.
We host tastings, partner with Savannah restaurants, and support local events. The shop is more than a store—it’s a gathering place.
